Abstract: The paper is a narrative inquiry by a teacher educator who is developing an idea to transform a traditional case study assignment into an innovative one using wikis, blogs, and eventually podcasts. The paper sketches the viability of narrative inquiry as research method and then provides initial insights into the piloting of various ideas that enhances students’ understandings of classroom diversities and teaching English language learners (ELLs), while promoting group work and building their own texts through writings and actions, both in class and online.
