Abstract: Today’s teachers confront the need to implement innovative approaches in teaching learning methods for the milleneal students. It is imperative to sustain the interest of students and also to adapt to their changing needs. Crossword puzzles games have been used in learning and as review material for examinations in other disciplines and have been a success. 1,2 Medical pharmacology entails memorizing names, terminologies, understanding concepts of how drugs act, interact with receptors, other drugs and cause side-effects. Taking into account this generations’s preference for collaborative learning and active partcipation, we have attempted to engage medical students with crossword puzzles in pharmacology and to find out their views on the learning experience
