Abstract: The aim of this article is to explore the changes that occur in classroom teaching methods following the implementation of iPads. In addition, the article focuses on the skills and attitudes required for using the technology critically and reflectively in the process of building new knowledge. The discussion is based on the TPACK model (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) of Mishra and Koehler (2006), a model that is intended to help teachers reflect on where their strengths and weaknesses lie considering their knowledge of content, pedagogy and technology, and how these areas work together to achieve innovative teaching and learning.

Keywords: iPad, TPACK, Teaching methods, Learning, Pedagogy.
