Abstract:

Online delivery of instruction brought to bear a new dimension in teaching and learning—a far-reaching educational look. Grasha’s work [1] on teaching and learning styles appears to exist along the same dimension. Effectiveness of teaching can be increased by an alignment designed with individual learning style preferences in mind which are connected with individual teaching styles. Ehlers [2] found four major clusters of e-learning quality preferences for online learners similar to Grasha and other’s clusters for traditional learners. Ehlers surmised that learning activities can be designed to meet the four major e-learning quality preferences. Qualitative analysis has shown to be the tool through which student satisfaction and performance are related to quality learning preferences which can effectively merge with e-learning teaching strategies.
