Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to describe the development and implementation of a newly designed online doctoral program in educational technology (DET). The objectives include (1) providing the framework of the program design and development, (2) sharing the DET program components and course sequence, (3) discussing the implementing experiences, the lessons learned, and challenges and potential solutions.
