Abstract: This research was aimed at developing the Information technology (IT) course for secondary students to enhance their critical thinking ability. The study was divided into three phases. Phase 1 was a study of a present context and needs in order to establish a conceptual framework for constructing the IT course. Phase 2 was the process of developing the IT course and testing its effectiveness through one group pretest posttest design approach . Phase3 was conducted to reconfirm the effectiveness of the proposed IT course. The result showed that there was a statistical difference at .05 level of significance between students’ thinking ability before and after studying the proposed IT course.
