Abstract: The aims of this study is to identify the relationships and effect of psychological empowerment towards teachers' affective commitment and self-efficacy. A total of 240 primary school teachers in northern part of Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia is selected as research sample. This study employs quantitative method by using questionnaire as instrument. Findings show that there is a positive and high relationship between psychological empowerment not only on teachers' affective commitment but also teachers' self-efficacy. Thus psychological empowerment dimensions as significant predictors which successfully contributed 65.0 percent and 75.4 percent total variance of affective commitment and self-efficacy of teachers respectively.
