Abstract: This article discusses an ongoing study of design of
educational apps. The paper in particular focuses on design of
Apps for deliver via iPad technology, and a conceptual model, a
kind of learning object designed to support conceptual learning.
Previous studies resulted in development of two sets of guidelines
for design of conceptual models and other forms of learning
object: (a) presentation design, and (b) design for learning uses.
In the current study, the plan is to extend these results and
explore these in the context of design of educational Apps for
iPad and similar technology. The final outcome of the study
would provide a set of recommendations for design of
