Abstract: Atrophic and eye macular degeneration is a dry, not neovascular degeneration: It entails a gradual disappearance of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) by apoptosis, producing areas of atrophy that are slowly growing and lose visual ability. Platelets can be considered a large number of growth factors endogenous deposits. The platelet grown factor (PGF) isolation through the process described in this procedure, intended to move the potential of these factors of growth for therapeutic use. The evaluation and assessment of outcomes will be made with the following tests: 1.-Visual acuity: ETDRS scale 2.-Autofluorescence 3.-Film tear srimmer. 4.-Exploration of the anterior segment of the eye.

Keywords: ageing, eye macular degeneration, platelet grwon factor.
