Abstract:
The theory of planned behavior (TPB) is considered the most famous theory of the relationship of attitude and behavior. It is applied in some behavioral areas. The purpose of the study is to understand the veterans’ intention of a signed ‘do not resuscitate’ (DNR). Of the 214 questionnaires issued and collected, 212 copies were valid; the response rate was 99.06{6e6090cdd558c53a8bc18225ef4499fead9160abd3419ad4f137e902b483c465}. In the "different retirement rank" in Theory of planned behavior scale analysis, only "attitude" and "perceived behavioral control" Facets and retired military rank have significantly correlated. Afterwards by comparison: soldiers more than willing to engage in acts of non-commissioned officers to sign DNR. Through interviews and questionnaires show: soldiers mostly single, no children, no relatives in Taiwan, a relic however, than those without worry, early life and death take it lightly, even if suffering from chronic diseases caused by dysfunction, also believes that no big deal, some residents fatalism places to interpret past life experience and see the future of life, not just for pain and serene old age dies, naturally, most are willing to sign DNR.
