Abstract:
The traditional Femtocell exploits the same frequency band as the Cellular network, thus introducing cross-tier interference. In this paper, a new opened spectrum portion (TV White Space) for Femtocell Aided Future Mobile Network is used to solve the cross-tier interference problem of Femtocell deployment. According to the observation that TV White Spacechannel availability being dependent on locations, a novel Grid based plus Interference Avoidance resource allocation scheme is proposed for Femtocells in the cellular network. A simulator based on a single cell scenario is established to demonstrate the system capacity of Femtocell Aided Future Mobile Network by using TV White Space. The cases with and without Femtocell are analyzed.
