Abstract: Technology plays a key role in the daily lives of the various generations in the workplace, and this is particularly true for the Millennial Generation. This paper will explore the attitudes, concerns, expectations, and fears associated with these individuals as they leave the college environment and engage in the workplace. Additionally, the implications for human resources managers on establishing appropriate infrastructure to recruit and retain these individuals will be described. Key insights will be provided from the analysis of interactions with students at 2 institutions of higher learning as they transition into the working environments.
