Abstract: Impact of digitization is global. Small developing nations need dynamic approaches at macro level as well as micro level to keep up with rapid changes. Present study attempts to highlight micro issues to deal with phase of changes and benefit out of digitization. Institutional readiness to accommodate and benefit from digitization, especially in terms of meeting with competitive environment and enhanced customer responsiveness is witnessed in Fiji. Structural changes incorporated in organizations are supportive elements in human resource management. Despite, internalization of capacity to absorb, purposely modify and enhance resource base are challenges for the future.
