Abstract:

Organizational studies which have appeared in the literature have indicated that team learning could be an effective means for promoting job satisfaction and employee commitment in the workplace. This study intended to investigate the influence of team learning behavior and socialization processes on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment in a changing environment. 175 employees were recruited to participate in a self-reported survey. Data from the predetermined measurements supported the hypothesized questions and suggested that there exist positive relationships among these predetermined variables. Managerial implications and further research directions are also proposed for creating better team learning and improving team performance, as well as fostering socialization to make employees fit at their new workplace settings.
