Abstract:
This study examines high performance management practices (HPMP) in Pakistani SMEs by using data from 436 manufacturing and service-based organisations. Our findings suggest that there is a low level of adoption of HPMP in Pakistani SMEs. There is no significant influence of firm size on the adoption of HPMP. However, the presence of human resource (HR) manager and strategic planning have a positive significant impact on the adoption of HPMP in Pakistani SMEs.
