Abstract:
With the rising trend of sustainable development, the idea of “corporate social responsibility (CSR),” has become the center of global spotlight. In this study, we are interested in explore the role of discretionary social responsibility (DSR) and understand its influences on organizational learning, further,how the organizational learning impacts on organizational performance. A field survey was conducted to executive managers in information technology industry in Taiwan. Our results suggested that DSR has positive influences on the commitment to learning; then the commitment-to-learning have positive influences on both subjective and objective organizational performance.
