Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to explore supplier evaluation and selection methods to assess the capabilities of existing supplier performance and examine the potential to turn them into key suppliers for the improvement of overall supply base performance. Using a case study this paper examines the current position of the company, formulation of criteria, prequalification of suitable suppliers and final selection of suppliers.A mixed approach is used to investigate and collect information.
