Abstract:

Absence of Green IT Culture among IT Higher Education Students in Oman—while universities and colleges worldwide are considered as factories of business leaders and organization managers and decision makers in the industry. This paper tried to measure the knowledge of IT students about Green IT in one of higher education organizations in Sultanate of Oman, as a sample of Arab Gulf Countries. The paper will answer the question of what are the reasons of absence of Green IT culture in Al-Buraimi University College and who is responsible of this. As well as it will focus on possible solutions to help in building and spreading Green IT culture among students.
