Abstract: This paper chooses the classical monologue in Shakespeare's “Hamlet” as the object of analysis, and make a comparative analysis between the original English version of monologue and Zhu Shenghao's Chinese translated version from the perspective of Halliday's Theme-Rheme Theory in Systemic FunctionalLinguistics.
