Abstract:
At the age of information and technology scientific advances impact the study of human language in different ways. Through computational linguistics, a new window has opened to serve language and multilingual communication in different forms and purposes. The present review paper investigates the theoretical and practical implementations of advances in computational linguistics for the Arabic language. These implementations are generated through research contributions. In this manuscript, we introduce featured research contributions and efforts to create computational linguistics resources for Arabic. We present the most important areas of interest for Arabic within computational linguistics and the organizations working on them.
