Abstract: Among Ying Chen’s literary works, Impression of Summer is the only collection of poetries written in two languages. In this book, Ying Chen continues to look for a way of writing which meets her needs. The genre, the languages and the theme of the book show her literary thought on the literature and the life. And the differences between two versions translated by the author show some problems of the translation and the liberty of translator.
