Abstract: At present, tourism has became an important undergoing rapid growth in China. Meanwhile, an increasing number of overseas tourists pour into China. Therefore, tourist material translation and research are becoming absolutely necessary. Based on previous researches, I will point out my creative point about introduction of tourism attractions. This thesis will mainly take the German functionalist theory as theatrical support from lexical, pragmatic, cultural level to analyze the tourism texts and point out problems so as to improve tourism translation quality which can strength publicity effect.
