Abstract: It’s known that vocabulary is the primary step of English learning. Mind-mapping is a kind of visual thinking tool to help students in vocabulary comprehension and memorization. This paper surveys the students in QiShan Junior Middle School and tries to analyze how mind-mapping is used in English vocabulary teaching. The students’ vocabulary can be greatly improved with the combination of memory and mind-mapping.
