Abstract: The paper focuses on a case study of language curriculum evaluation in a Japanese university, which currently constitutes Japan’s forefront in the process of internationalization of higher education and dual language teaching. The research evaluates the needs analysis component of the English language program in order to find out what is the role of English language teaching in the current process of internationalization of Japanese Higher Education; and how does the curriculum meet the students’ academic needs.
