Abstract: Lost on a Red Minibus to Taipo was a popular online novel serialized in the Hong Kong Golden Forum. There are many sentences with Cantonese-English code-mixing in the novel. This paper studies the code-mixing in the novel in detail, and analyses some special types of code-mixing found in the novel.
