Abstract:

Presenting public policy that is perceived as meeting some greater good on behalf of the majority of citizens is the holy grail of most elected officials. The process of developing public policy however is fraught with mandate problems, legal issues and arguments about regulatory hurdles. This paper ill consider a possible acceptable model for developing good public policy based on the author’s parliamentary and post-parliamentary experience.
