However, China has also attracted illegal immigrants at the same time, including illegal economic immigrants and illegal immigrants for family reasons. This paper discusses the reasons why illegal immigrants for family reasons occurs, which includes economic, population proportion, and law and policy reasons; the negative impacts on social stability, population, public health, and international relationship; and the current Chinese regulatory framework, which can be divided into four parts: policy, law, management department, and implementation.
