Abstract: Supply chains are generally complex and are characterized by numerous activities spread across multiple functions and organizations, which pose interesting challenges for effective supply chain coordination. Coordinating and managing distributed entities in a supply chain is a challenging task owing to conflicts present in such systems. This work attempts to analyze supply chain conflicts in a distribution channel. The application of Colored Petri Nets (CPN) is presented for the modelling of the supply chain and CPN Tools, a graphical software tool is used to simulate and analyze the CPN model. The results are presented to highlight the main issues arising in real systems and to provide insights for future work on analysis of conflicts in supply chains.
