Abstract:
In this paper a simple technique of double exposure speckle photography is applied to measure small deformation of a surface. Two images of the speckle pattern were recorded; one at the system at rest and another after the deformation was made in surface. By simple subtraction of the digital pictures, we obtain a fringe pattern that gives us information about the deformation. The results of displacement/deformation can be obtained by different methods of analysis of the speckle images has been studied and verified by the conventional methods.
