Abstract:
Designing evaluators to take part in the process of accreditation of educational programs is a task that in reality generates a problem of complex combinatorial decision. In real life, an expert commission, based on slightly formal criteria and badly structured, does the allocation ``manually” . In this article, the allocation of evaluators is analyzed. Evaluators issue a definitive recommendation in order that an educational program is accredited as a quality program or not and it is approached through an optimization heuristic model of recombinant stochastic dynamic programming. The model reaches attributes and criteria that grant impartiality and transparency to the allocation, balancing the number of cases in which every evaluator has taken part, travel distance in their trips, and considering their category to leade special evaluation applications. The model is adapted for institutions in Mexico, generating results that significantly improve the traditional allocation.
