Abstract:
Long a focal point in environmental studies, transboundary water interaction has become a major concern of International Relations. Whether the interstate competition over transboundary waters will lead to greater conflict or increased cooperation remains a hotly debated issue. This paper examines the impact of the construction of a dam on the Chinese side of the Brahmaputra river on the Sino-Indian relationship.
