Abstract: An encryption technique is widely used to keep data
confidential. Most of the block symmetric algorithms use
substitution functions. Often this functions use so called S-BOX
matrix. Based on information theory functions for testing
dynamic criteria are presented. These criterions are
mathematically defined for square s-boxes. In this paper authors
present algorithms for testing and measuring dynamic criteria of
square s-boxes.
