Graphene sheets and carbon nanotubes (CNT) have sparked tremendous interest amongst researchers. There are many potential applications in many fields because of their excellent electrical, thermal and mechanical properties. It has been observed that there exists a one-of-a-kind symbiotic relationship between one-dimensional CNTs and two-dimensional graphene sheets. The fabrication of ultralight graphene-CNT hybrid aerogels can be a promising way to develop the ideal materials for efficient energy storage devices. In this paper, we develop the advanced synthesis method of graphene-CNT hybrid aerogels by using a simple and green L-ascorbic acid (LAA) via supercritical CO2 drying. The morphologies of the hybrid aerogels are well-controlled by changing the CNT content and quantified.
