Abstract:

With the rise of the awareness of the environmental protection and the notion of the development of the business sustainability these years, the innovative design of green products has been one of the issues valued by the present enterprises. The innovative design of green products mainly appeals to reducing the environmental impact resulted from the product design, production, use, discard and so on. Therefore, if a sound plan and assessment for green products can be made in the phase of design and the Voice of Customer (VOC) can be adopted into the manufacturing procedure of green products, they cannot only meet the requirements of green products but also the demand of customers.
Therefore, this study plans to combine the Analytic Network Process (ANP) with the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to construct the model of green products’ designs. First, this study discovers the relationship between the quality elements of green products’ designs and then finds out critical design factors by means of documentary reviews and the Analytic Network Process (ANP). Next, combining ANP with QFD is able to convert VOC into the development and technical requirements of green products, in order to ensure that the green products can meet customers’ satisfaction and to provide the cooperative enterprises with the priority of implementing the improvement of technical requirements of green products’ designs. Last, this study takes a Taiwanese listed company of aluminum electrolytic capacitor for example to explain its application. Thus, the innovative evaluation model of green products developed by this study can not only assist design engineers in developing green products to satisfy customers’ demand but also enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
