Abstract: The study was aimed to transform the waste polarizing film to energy gas and resource materials using the microwave-induced pyrolysis. The gaseous products contained high amounts of CO, H2, and CH4; interestingly, no CO2 was monitored. The major constituents in liquid products were phenol, benzenecarboxylic acid, and triacetyl-D-glucose, which could be the raw materials for chemical industry.
