Abstract: This research paper explores basically two major themes focusing on (i) the recent terrorist attacks in Bangladesh and its impacts on tourism & foreign travelers; and (ii) analyses foreigners’ attitudes to local tourism and residents’ perceptions and role in the local tourism development. It has examined some other social factors that affect on residents’ support for tourism, host-guest interactions, traffic problems, influence of place attachment & location, relation between tourists and local residents. This research paper provides a detailed discussion on the context depending on two survey results, secondary data sources and other documents.
