Cross-Cultural Challenges Experienced by Taiwanese Hospitality Students Interning in Singapore

Abstract: This paper presents the challenges faced by Taiwanese hospitality students interning at hotels and a restaurant in Singapore. Students reported challenges such as language barriers and differences in service standards and work attitudes. This study also identified the coping skills students applied to deal with these challenges.
