Abstract: With the development of tourism, the impact of tourism on residents’ quality of life are more and more prominent. This study analyzed existing studies about tourism development and residents' quality of life in recent years. This study focused on the differences of tourism impacts on urban and rural residents’ perception of revenue and entertainment, which conducted T analysis by using a sample of 2380 in China, as well as statistical data. Results showed that tourism impact not only has a significant difference in income and entertainment for residents in different provinces of China, but also for those who are urban and rural residents. Several national governance countermeasures for urban and rural development were provided.
