Abstract: This paper deals with the database design of a COBIT-performance measurement system based on the concept of IT Governance. Performance measurement is one of the focus areas of IT Governance and it is supported through COBIT. COBIT provides three different kinds of goals and metrics, which have a hierarchical relationship between them. The database of the performance measurement system is modeled based on these concepts, and reflects the relevant structures and relationships. The database is modeled with UML in order to facilitate the development of object-oriented applications.
