Abstract: This study will appear, the relationship between the preserved space as the historical townscape and psychological value from the viewpoint of tourism. In recent years, to improve urban landscape and tourism, there are the landscape regulations in general urban areas around tourist spots. It is important to clear the sequential elements and the impression. In this study, we analyzed the sequential elements psychologically for the pedestrians walking towards sightseeing spots, the characteristics of colors on streets, and the relationship the psychological value and the physical elements. As a result, it is clear that pedestrian’s “advance” is related the characteristic colors. The possibility of improving the attractiveness on the street was obtained by the change of the scenery from the general urban area and to historical street.
