Abstract:Revitalization, the most complex method of urban modernization, also supplements the more traditional ways of heritage protection and can help create good architecture in the cities. Krakow, Poland’s second largest city by population and former capital city provides us with an object case in the field of revitalization of Polish cities. In this article the revitalization in Krakow has been discussed in connection with an aesthetic aspect and architectural practice. Some examples of architecture created in Krakow in the 21st century have also been called.
